Star Gazing Sleep Out is scheduled for this Wednesday night BUT it is supposed to be cloudy and that isn't good for looking at stars. Do to phases of the moon we are likely to postpone until Thursday night October 24th. Please watch for a final paper going home early this week, it is very likely to be postponed. Good morning school family! Yesterday I finished emailing out all the school portraits! If your child had their portrait taken, and you did not receive an email, let me know, and I can resend it. If you would like to have your child do retakes, we will be doing those this Monday, October 7. So just make sure they are good to go and we will have their retakes done! Good morning school family! I do have the school portraits now, but it is a VERY tedious process as I have to personally email each and every portrait individually (They are around 11 MB a piece) So I am working my way down the list of emails and getting them out as I can. You can expect to have your student's portraits at the LATEST by end of day tomorrow, and then from there you can decide if you want to do retakes. There is no charge for retakes, and will be available to anyone who wants their child to do them. *These are large files to download, so it would be best to be on wifi if you have spotty reception* Thank you for your patience!

Redding does NOT have mats or pads for night one. So a camping pad is needed. Please let me know if you do not have one. We have access to a handful of sleeping pads. -Mr.Kuntz

Good evening 9/10 Parents, Tomorrow at 8am we are leaving on our Earth Science field trip please arrive by 7:45 so we can load luggage. Please pack as light as possible. . Last week students got a packing list but incase you didn't see it the link is at the bottom. We will be hiking Mt. Lassen on Tuesday and other trails Wednesday and Thursday. I suggest shoes for hiking, a backpack with a water bottle/camelback and sunscreen. We need a sack lunch for tomorrow and money for fast food on our return Thursday. We are staying in Reddings gym Monday night and in bunk cabins Tuesday and Wednesday night. Please see the link for packing lists. Hi UJA football parents, **Non-football families please disregard** Because there is no school on Monday, and we have a game coming up, we are planning to still practice. Hello yearbook parents! So after getting the schedule, it looks as though we are actually done on Tuesday September 10! We will be back in time for their afternoon classes that day and can be picked up at normal time 3:15 at the end of the school day. I apologize for the confusion!

The students of the Kenya Mission trip are having a car wash 11am-2pm at Dr. Corbett's office, 135 Hospital Drive in Ukiah, across from Walgreens this Sunday, Father's Day June 16. We also want to thank you all for your support with the Star's Restaurant fundraiser on June 4th. Over $700 was raised for the mission trip! - Mr.Kuntz

Who wants to cook for dinner tonight? Nobody! Instead lets all go to Star's Restaurant! Today from 2:00 until 10:00 Star's will donate 20% of each bill towards next year's mission trip to Kenya. Just mention to them that you are supporting UJA, and 20% of your bill will go to support the 9th and 10th grade students to go on this trip!
