7th and 8th Grade Bake Sale This Friday.
A beautiful Christmas Cantata, 3.5 days until Christmas Break, and a bake sale what a way to go into vacation!
The first bake sale raised about $250. I will get the numbers from the office on the tamale sale but it was a delicious way to raise money.
One more bake sale this Friday.

UJA Parents,
Again, I apologize for the delay in getting information to you about another school closure tomorrow. The sheriff’s press conference about the Feather River shooting did not start until almost 4:00.
The Adventist teaching community in Northern California is a tight-knit group. We all know each other and feel for our fellow teachers at Feather River Adventist School. We visualize ourselves in a similar horrible situation. Our nerves are a bit raw still. We would also like to have extended time tomorrow to reevaluate our safety protocols and discuss how we will talk with our students in an age-appropriate, gentle way about the events of this week. For these reasons, UJA will not be in session for our students tomorrow, Friday, December 6. We look forward to seeing all our students again on Monday.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding. We are honored you have chosen UJA for your child’s education.
God bless,
Rick Nelson
UJA Parents and Staff, Please check your email concerning our school closure this Thursday, December 5 (not November 5).

Good Afternoon 7th and 8th Grade Parents.
Hopefully the is just a reminder because at the end of last week a bright yellow paper went home to let you know that this Wednesday, the 13th at 6pm we will have a parent meeting. I would like to keep it to 30 minutes or less. It will cover the following topics Dates and Cost of the Trip, Fundraising Ideas and Dates , Trip Outline and Sign-up for Interest in Being a Parent Chaperones.
This will be school for 7th and 8th grade the week of February 2nd-7th.
Please make every effort to be at the meeting.
Thank you,
Mr. Kuntz
Good afternoon school family,
Just a reminder that in recognition of our country's veterans, we will not have school this coming Monday to honor Veteran's Day.
We will see you all back on campus on Tuesday 😊
This Friday, November 8, we will have our first quarter awards ceremony. Awards will be given for attendance (K-8) and Honor Roll (3-8) after our chapel. Chapel usually ends around 8:35. Parents are invited to attend both, if time and circumstance allows.
Rick Nelson.
Good afternoon school family, I wanted to give you all a heads-up on our Spirit Week schedule so you can start your creative planning now!
We are looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!

UJA 5-8 Parents,
Basketball season is coming up after Thanksgiving, and we have a large group of students who are asking about a boys' and girls' basketball team at our school. We would love to have a boys and girls team, but we need volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching our 5-8 boys or girls basketball team, please contact me, and let's have a conversation about how we can work together to create the best experience for our students.

7th/8th Grade Parents
We had a great time last Thursday night looking through telescopes and identifying stars and constellations but there are a few things missing.
Please look at what your child brought home. A family is missing the following: A Blue REÍ sleeping bag, black inside. In a large REÍ off white storage bag.
Still waiting to be claimed: a black and blue sleeping bag in a large LLBean white storage bag. a blue puffy jacket, black gloves, and a black foam sleeping pad.
Please contact me if you have the missing REI bag and sleeping bag OR if the other items still at school are yours.
Thank you,
Mr. Kuntz
