UJA Parents,
A note is going home today with your children inviting your children to be a part of our church service this coming Saturday. They will be singing some numbers they have been practicing in Music Class. I apologize for the short notice, we should have informed you about this much earlier. We would love to have your children be a part of our worship service on Saturday, but understand that previous plans may prevent that. Thank you for your understanding. Rick Nelson

Hello school family,
I apologize, I want to send out a correction on the grapevine for tomorrow's hot lunch. We are NOT having pizza, but we are having Mac & Cheese!
I am not quite sure why my mind was on pizza when I was told Mac & Cheese! 😵

Learning Fair is around the corner :) Today students received their rubric for the Rube Goldberg Machines featuring Simple Machines. We will be building them at school during science class and showing them off April 24, 6:30-8pm in the gym. This is an all school event. You will even get to quiz the students on what they created! The link below is the grading rubric and it has links to YouTube videos on Rube Goldberg Machines.
Any Questions please reach out,
Mr. Kuntz

Just a reminder, no hot lunch tomorrow.

Happy Friday everyone!
Just want to send out a reminder that spring break starts this weekend!
School will be out through Monday March 31, so we won't see any of you back here on campus until Tuesday April 1!
Enjoy your time off and we will see you all then!

UJA Parents,
This is a friendly reminder from your principal that tomorrow is an early dismissal day with school ending at 12:15. After school care will still be available beginning at 12:30. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The students did so well last Sabbath at Ukiah SDA Church.
Saturday March 15 is the next time they will be leading out for church song service. Additionally during the service there will be a prayer of dedication for the students and families going on the Kenya mission trip.
This Friday, February 28, they will also be leading the song service for school chapel. Please have them here at 7:40 so we can set up sound and instruments.
The praise group is a huge success. The confidence of playing infant of kids and church is amazing. Thank you for all your support.

Catalina Trip was a Success!
The students were wonderful. We crammed a lot of fun times, learning, and experiences to a fast few days! I am so thankful to the chaperone team that drove and watched over the kids on the trip.
There was a sleeping bag and a suitcase left, see pictures. It can be picked up Monday from my classroom.
I am sure they are enjoying being home, having heir own bed, a shower and a meal with family.
Thank you for letting me take them to Catalina, it was a great time!
Mr. Kuntz

Last Catalina Reminder :-)
See you at 7:30 tomorrow morning. Remember to bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and packing in duffel bag or soft sided luggage if possible.
Please give me or Mrs. Chamberlain any medications that the kids have/need.
Very Excited that the trip is here.
See you in the morning.

Packing for Catalina
If possible please pack in something soft sided. I know the packing sheet from Catalina says something with wheels but let's ignore that if possible. If you have a duffle bag or something soft sided that allows us to cram them in places luggage won't fit. Sleeping bags and pads can be separate from the luggage/duffle bag. Everything will get a yellow ribbon or yarn Sunday morning.
If you have any questions please call or text me.
Looking forward to an amazing trip!
Mr. Kuntz

The praise group needs to set up tomorrow. Please have the kids here at 7:40 tomorrow. Stay and enjoy their songs.
Thank You,
Mr. Kuntz
